Skimmed on kindle fire hd, will probably keep it and read it if i get bored. It was free, so im not disappointed about no pictures but was hoping they would have been copied as well as the text. Sadly, it seems a lot of the public domain old books for free have the text copied but not the pictures...so you're left with orphaned captions. What I read of the text was interesting, descriptive, and engaging, but not enough to, eg, reproduce a costume from.
